Finally Viru broke his silence on MS Dhoni
MS Dhoni is social media star since last three days, after his resignation as India’s limited overs captain. Several players and celebrities lauded and paid their tributes to ‘Captain Cool’ for his decision. But ex-Indian cricketer and opener Virender Sehwag was mute on this step. But finally he broke his silence on Dhoni and wished him on his achievements.
Sehwag said, “Mahendra Singh Dhoni resigned as captain of the Indian One Day and T20I team on 4th January. This has happened a few days earlier than I expected. 7 is his favorite number and I thought it was apt to wish him the very best going forward as a wicket-keeper batsman on the 7th.”
“His skills on the field as a player and captain are known to everyone, but he is a even better human being with a big heart. It’s also fitting that he and the team played with names of their mother on the India Jersey in the last match he captained for India. I wish him all the very best in everything that he does,” he added to his quotes.
Virender Sehwag is very active on social media since his retirement and regularly post updates. As he didn’t make any comments on MS until now, it was looking quite strange, but like always he came with something special for a very special captain.
